The Australian Paint Manufacturers’ Federation Inc. represents the interests of its members to ensure the sustainability of the surface coatings industry in Australia.
Our purpose is to represent and advance the interests of its members to ensure the sustainability of the Australian paint and surface coatings industry. The industry produces some $2.7 billion worth of surface coating products and directly employees some 6,500 persons. The APMF represents 19 Australian and international paint companies. APMF members account for over 90 percent of all paint manufactured in Australia. We are a not-for-profit industry association.
The Australian Paint Manufacturers’ Federation Inc. represents the interests of its members to ensure the sustainability of the surface coatings industry in Australia.
Current membership includes 19 Australian and international paint manufacturers. Our members include: DuluxGroup, PPG, Hempel (Wattyl), Akzo Nobel, Axalta and Haymes Paints.
The APMF is a member of the World Coatings Council and the Asia Paint Industry Council.
The APMF established Paintback in 2016 to provide a cost-effective solution for households and trade painters to dispose of unwanted and waste paint and packaging. Paintback has established itself as a global leader, opening the world’s first integrated paint and packaging recycling facility in Melbourne.
